Tizen OS के फेल हो जाने के बाद कोरियन कम्पनी Samsung ने Google के द्वारा बनाए गये Wear OS का प्रयोग अपनी आने वाली Smartwatch की नई Series में करने का फैसला किया है। Samsung Tizen OS का प्रयोग 2012 से अपने z-series smartphones, Smartwatch और TV के लिए कर रहा हैं |  लेकिन ये Operating System यूजर्स को कोई ख़ास पसंद नही आया | इसीलिए Samsung ने Tizen OS की राह छोड़ अब Google Wear OS की तरफ रुख किया है। गूगल Wear OS सबसे पहले आने वाली न्यू Galaxy watch 4 और Galaxy watch Active 4 मे देखने को मिल सकता है |  हालाकि Samsung ने ये भी साफ जाहिर कर दिया है की market में पहले से मौजूद Smartwatch के लिए Google Wear OS की कोई update नही मिलेगी। जिसकी वजह से Samsung की Tizen OS पर चलने वाली पुरानी Smartwatches के लिए सॉफ्टवेयर सपोर्ट भी खत्म हो जाएगी।  लेकिन Samsung के Television products में अभी भी Tizen OS का ही यूज किया जाएगा।  Samsung का Google Wear OS पर स्विच करना सैमसंग के फैंस के लिए अच्छी news है...
