VIVO V20 PRO and V20 SE Update Brings May 2021 Android Security Patch, Bug Fixes

Vivo V20 Pro 5G and V20 SE are receiving new Android 11 based Funtouch OS software update that comes with the May 2021 Android security patch. The update for the these smartphones is rolling out globally.

Along with the latest Android security patch, all smartphones are also receiving system stability improvements and fixes for known issues.

The updates for the smartphones began rolling out in a phased manner on Friday, May 21.  Vivo has not shared a detailed changelog for either of the phones and has only mentioned that the updates being the latest security patch and general fixes.

To manually check for the update on your Vivo device, head to Settings > System updates. It is recommended to keep your device connected to a strong Wi-Fi and put on charging during downloading and installing a new Funtouch OS update. Update size is around 300 MB.
